This auction is for ONE (1) ONE ROLL 1974 SILVER PROOF EISENHOWER DOLLARS. This roll contains twenty (20) Proof SILVER IKE Dollars.
The items that I am selling here on eBay come from my personal collection acquired over many years of collecting as well as items given to me by my parents and other family members. I am selling simply because I have been caught in the downdraft of today’s economic times and we need to raise funds. Each item, set, roll, individual coin or collectible was acquired with great love – and I simply hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the years. I have a lot of “stuff” and many multiples so if there is something you want or need email me and I will do my best to list it.
I only accept Paypal or e-check through Paypal and will ship fast. Everything will have a tracking number and I will do my best to get that number to you when shipped. Payment is required within 5 days. I simply ask that you bid if you intend to pay and skip me if you don’t. This will be my source of funds for the immediate future and your bid is very important to me – equally important is payment. INSURANCE IS REQUIRED AND WILL BE ADDED TO THE INVOICE SENT TO YOU.
Shipping is simple – one fee which is $3.50. If you win one auction or all of them you pay $3.50 only once. Everything will be shipped with a confirmation.
I will strive to do my best and tell you upfront that I am far from perfect – my grading, if provided, is equal to yours because both are subjective. I will try never to grade but if you ask I will provide an opinion – and it is just that – my opinion.
You may return your item for a refund of the purchase price within 7 days. I ask that you be honest and if a return is necessary you ship back the same coins shipped to you.
Some information on proof rolls – Through the years I bought, acquired or was given scads of proof sets, which I broke down into rolls. There is no magic – I just bought sets and when I had enough to make a roll, I made a roll. The rolls have extremely nice coins and I will go through each roll before I ship it to you and pull out any bad coins. The US Mint defines proof coins as “extraordinarily brilliant with sharp relief and a mirror-like background. The proofing process results in coins that feature frosted, sculpted foregrounds, giving them a “cameo” appearance. Proof blanks are specially treated, polished and cleaned to ensure high-quality strikes. The blanks are then fed into presses fitted with hand-polished dies and struck at least two times to ensure sharp, high relief.” All of my proof rolls follow this description.
