Although most commonly referred to as the Mercury dime, the coin does not depict the Roman messenger god. The obverse figure is a depiction of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, a classic symbol of liberty and freedom, with its wings intended to symbolize freedom of thought. Designed by noted sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, the Winged Liberty Head dime is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful U.S. coin designs ever produced.

Returns
We do not accept returns on certified coins or sealed packages. All other items as stated in our auctions are sold with a 7 days “No questions asked” 100% return policy. Only the cost of the actual returned item will be refunded. Shipping and insurance costs are not refundable. It is your responsibility to return items to us at your expense and in the same condition we sent them to you. Damaged or lost items will only be refunded through shipping insurance.

Shipping & Handling
For shipment in the United States we use the Ebay shipping calculator to calculate your shipping fees. Postage fees are exactly what you pay at the post office. We ship on Saturday or Monday after receiving your payment. We are closed on Sundays and Holidays.
